Triangle News

News - 23rd January 2013

Good News! Water supply up and running! When we asked the local committee what was their next priority they said a secure water supply as the taps often ran dry.  They would provide local knowledge and labour if we could fine some finance. Through this partnership we are pleased to say that a water supply has now been provided. This means that the health clinic now has guaranteed water when previously they had to carry it for quite a distance.

God Is Good . . . . All the time.!

One of the strengths of Triangle is that we know every penny given goes to where it is needed due to our partnership with a local hotel and its community development department. We can give with confidence. We would like to continue to pay the salaries of two teachers at the school(£90 per month) as well as the salary of a part time lab-technician at the clinic (£30 per month).

You can make one-off donations or make a regular standing order.

News - September 2014

Julie and Ces are unable to get to Kenya this year due to the terrorists, bombing and killing people in the area. Thomson have stopped flights until end of 2015.
Birdwell Primary School, Long Ashton, Bristol have raised £900 through a sponsored walk carrying buckets of dirty water on their heads and as a result a water tank has been installed at the community garden at Mzizima school Kenya, run by project.

Chengo, a member of the project, says this will enable them to feed the community, grow more produce and keep it healthy due to a constant supply of water.
