The Churches Ministry of Healing and Wholeness

The quarterly evening service at which we make "Healing and Wholeness" the specific focus is now well established. The services are "low-key" in that all that we do is done reverently, thoughtfully and quietly.  At present the evening service lends itself admirably to these ends.  The only part of the service that is different from the standard service of Holy Communion, is the opportunity to receive a short prayer with the laying on of hands.

The procedure we adopt for this is as follows:

If you would like prayer for yourself, or for someone else, having received Communion take your place on the front row, leaving one chair-space between yourself and the next person.

When everyone has received Communion, two members of the "prayer team" will come to pray with you.  Please tell them whether prayer is for you or for another person.

When you have been prayed for, feel free to return to your seat, or remain where you are for the closing hymn and Benediction.

Those who have Communion brought to them and would also like prayer, please ask the steward who serves you.

We invite anyone who would like to learn more about healing, particularly in relation to wholeness of body, mind and spirit, but who is anxious as to "what goes on", to join us in these "safe, non-threatening" services.  Whether or not you want prayer with the laying on of hands, we are confident that you will receive "grace upon grace".

"From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another"  (John 1:16)

Please join us.
