Christian aid - For the love of……..

On the 23rd September Climate Week in New York City begins. The world's leaders will meet for a Climate Summit hosted by the UN. Urgent action is needed and people around the world have decided to have a day of action on Sunday, 21dt September to witness to our elected leaders that we want them to act - we need them to act and that they will have our support in taking meaningful steps to tackle climate change. It is "an invitation to change" and specifically not a protest.

You can get involved!

Join Liz David and family on the Bristol People's Climate march. There are marches taking place all over the world with the aim of creating the biggest and most diverse event supporting action on climate change ever.

Bristol's walk will start at 14:30pm in Castle Park and end on College Green where there will be live music and children's events until about 17:00pm. We're going to catch the 12:45 bus from Chepstow Bus Station and either the 16:45 or 17:45 bus home. Come and witness with us.

Or there's still time to upload your photos and comments to "for the love of". A giant installation that will be a focal point of the London events on the 21st September. Go to www.fortheloveof.org.uk

And please pray for all the events on the 21st and that our leaders will take courage from this show of support and act. And especially on the 23rd September as these crucial climate talks take place.
