Wholeness & Healing services

Christmas 2018

December 6th 7:00pm 'Light up a Life' - a shared service with St David's Hospice Foundation. Christmas can be a time of mixed emotions especially if we are feeling the loss of someone close. During this service we share with other people who are living with loss, share some familiar carols as well as having the chance to light  candle in memory of those we miss at this time of year.

Dec 19th 2:45pm - a joint carol service for the Wesley Guild and Women's fellowship

Dec 20th 2:30pm MENCAP Carol service - We are joining with our friends from the Berkley Centre for our annual get together which will include familiar carols, readings and contributions from the Berkley Singers. Always a high light of our festive season!

Dec 20th 7:30pm Alternativity - A chance to get beneath the surface of  what we think we know about the Christmas story in the bible,  a more reflective service which will include looking at the experience of refugees.

Dec 23rd 10:30am - Christmas ad hoc Nativity - A nativity play in which anyone (and everyone) can get to take part and leaves us all smiling!

Dec 23rd 6:30pm Carols By Candlelight - A service with traditional carols and readings all by candlelight followed by mince pies.

Dec 24th 3:00pm Christingle Service - Each year we are delighted to have a full house for this service. This service is suitable for children of all ages and includes the chance to make a Christingle. Always a good chance to get out of the house when people are getting excited!

Dec 24th 11.15pm - Midnight Communion - A chance to get to the very heart of the Christmas story as we celebrate the coming of Christ amongst us.

Dec 25th 10:00am - Worship for all-ages on Christmas morning. A joyful celebration suitable for all ages.

Also during advent many of us are following our prayer guide to help us make some space for Christ at what can be a busy time of year - this can be down loaded by clicking the link above.

Happy Christmas and God's peace to you
